Library stands as a beacon of knowledge and enlightenment. Our library is meticulously designed, offering a congenial environment across various units that cater to the diverse needs of our readers. Our primary mission is to provide robust support for teaching, research, and extension programs by harnessing digital information resources. We aspire to transform into a Digital Resource Learning Center, serving all units of Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University. Our objectives revolve around creating a digital learning environment aligned with the college's academic pursuits, backed by modern ICT infrastructure and comprehensive collections, both conventional and digital. Our library boasts a rich collection, including over 58,000 books in Agriculture and Allied Sciences, along with bound journals, government publications, theses, and other publications. Through our computerized Book Bank facility, students and staff can access reading materials with ease, supplemented by an open access system and RFID KIOSK for streamlined transactions. Dr. L.R. Yadav completed his
graduation in 1990, post graduation in 1993 and Ph.D. in 2005 from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan
Agriculture University, Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. He joined as Assistant
Professor (Agronomy) in AICRP on
Sugarcane at ARS, Kota, Rajasthan in 1996.Thereafter in 2008 promoted to
Associate Professor and as Professor in 2011. He worked on sugarcane, chickpea
and wheat agronomy. Presently. He has
worked as Associate Dean, University Head of Agronomy, Head of Agronomy
Department, Head, Department of
Agricultural Engineering, Incharge, Farm & Workshop. He has served as
mentor for 26 M.Sc. and 6 Ph.D. students
as major advisor and more than 70 students as advisor. He has revised UG
courses according to V Deans’ Committee of ICAR of Agronomy and Agricultural Engineering for SKNAU,
Jobner in 2016 as Head. He has published 88 research papers, presented 60 papers in national and International seminars. He has authored 10 folders, 5 practical manuals, 20 popular
articles, developed 7 production technologies and 6 book chapters. He has been member
of professional societies like Life member of Indian
Society of Agronomy, IARI New Delhi, Life member of Indian Society of Pulses
Research and Development, IIPR, Kanpur ,
Life member of Annals of Experimental Agriculture & Allied Sciences, A.R.S.,
Durgapura, Life member of Alumni Association of SKN COA, Jobner.

Div. of Agronomy, IARI, New Delhi for year 2020, Councilor of Rajasthan, Indian Society of Agronomy, IARI, New
Delhi (2012-14). He got Appreciation
award by Harit Kranti, national
agriculture paper in the field of agricultural education in the state of
Rajasthan and a Appreciation letter by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKNAU, Jobner
As Principal Investigator, RKVY-02 and RKVY-24 project, successfully handled and completed the project and utilized the budget and procured many implements in College workshop for farm mechanization and construction of farm pond for water harvesting. In RKVY-12 as Co-PI of the project, was involved in the transfer of technology by way of field demonstrations on organic agriculture. Also handled a PVT trial on wheat. Shouldered important responsibility as Procurement officer in IDP, NAHEP project. As Course Director, organized a ICAR sponsored winter school on “Natural farming – Agroecological approaches under rainfed production system” during 8-28 Dec., 2022.
