Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner- Jaipur was established in 2013 by Govt of Rajasthan. To provide the healthy and working environment of all employees & students feel safe and respect a Scheduled Casts/ Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) cell constituted by the University. The SC/ST Cell co-ordinate with the university authorities in the implementation of the various policies and programmes launched by the State/Centre Government and  UGC/ICAR for the benefit of  the SC/ST students and employees. Cell also looks after the matter related to SC/ST Employee/Students of University for safe guarding their interest as per rules.

OBJECT OF SC/ST Cell:  

• Effective implementation of rule of reservations to SC/ST candidate in the admission to various courses and see all possible education facilities like Hostels, Scholarships, Book Bank and Stipend to SC/ST students.
• Effective implementation of rule of reservations to appointment and promotion to staffs as per roster system in University.
• Effective implementation of Order/Circular/Guidelines issued by the Centre/State Govt./UGC/ICAR in respect of reservation to students and Staffs.
• Provide the special coaching for competitive examinations, Civil Service, Personality Development and communications skill etc for SC/St Students.
• Organise the different activities to develop awareness among the SC/ST Students especially from the rural area.
• Organise Dr. B R Ambedkar Birthday celebration & Anniversary programme.
