  1. This college was started in accordance to the budget declaration of CM during 2019-20 however, first batch was admitted during 2020 with 57 students.
  2. Presently, three batches are studying at this college and total students are 179 out of these 60 are girls.
  3. On Kishangarhbas- Khairthal state highway about 2.5 km away from Kishangarhbas bus stand, a land area of 3.56 ha. was allotted on 23 April, 2021 for the Academic & Administration building, Hostels and residential blocks. The boundary wall work is in under construction and work orders have been issued for construction of 4 buildings.
  4. Recently, on 2 November 2022, the foundation stone of these buildings was laid down by Chief Minister of State in the presence of various ministers of state government and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the university.
  5. A land area of 27.58 ha. has also been allotted for the purpose of college farm at revenue village Nagalia.

  ii.    About the unit: The College of Agriculture, Kishangarhbas (Alwar) facilitates the active participation of undergraduate students in National Service Scheme (NSS), started by Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi, in 1969-70. The basic purpose of this scheme is to develop responsibility among students through social services and realization of work. It helps to inculcate self-discipline and control of mind and body for making students a responsible citizen. NSS activities are a mandatory part of B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. Degree program. NSS course is being offered as a part of the course curriculum since 2021. A number of camps and various services on different subject, rallies and plantation by the students are carried under NSS regularly.

  b.        National Sports Organization (NSO)

  2.        About the unit: The NSO as it is popularly known as, is one of the most happening wings of the college. Various sports facilities are provided for different games like kabaddi, volleyball, badminton, athletics. The NSO organizes various activities round the year like Yoga Day and inter-class sports competition. The organization also organizes various talks by eminent sportsmen of the country.
