College of Agriculture Baseri, Dholpur
College of agriculture Baseri Dholpur(Raj.) Notified on 5th August 2019 vide Government of Rajasthan order No. Agri. 3@2019 Jaipur Dated 05-08-2019 and subsequent university order no. F.( )/Gen/Reg/SKNAU/20419/643 dated 07.08.2019 as a constituent college of Sri karan Narendra University, Jobner. The college is situated at village Khemri Teh.-Baseri (Dholpur) which is 5 km interior to NH 23 Bharatpur to Dholpur which is ultimately connecting Delhi, Jaipur, Gwalior, and other major cities of India. This college is about 60 km away from Bharatpur and 30 km from Dholpur City. College is a full of greenery and the Centre of Excellence Mango is also working on the college campus.
Aims & Objectives of College
- To provide scientific and technical knowledge and to develop entrepreneurship skills among students in agriculture.
- To provide value-based quality education and to make students aware of high-tech and modern agriculture.
- To enhance the competitiveness among students and help the college to emerge as a center of excellence in agriculture.
- To prepare students for future challenges especially in the agriculture sector.

Admission Procedure
- Admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Ag. programme is done through JET examination conducted by one of the Agricultural Universities of Rajasthan advertised through notification.
- The minimum eligibility for a candidate to appear in this test is that the candidate must have passed 12th of the 10+2 (Academic) scheme of examination with Agriculture/ Biology/ Mathematics group of the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or an Examination declared equivalent to it with prescribed percentage of marks mentioned in the admission notification.
- Admission on payment seats is given on the basis of the JET merit as supernumerary seat in the constitute college of the University.
- A candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in the aforesaid examinations (10+2). A relaxation of 5% marks would be allowed to candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non creamy layer) category.
- The maximum age limit is 25 years.
- The candidate must be a bonafide resident of Rajasthan.
Intake Capacity of College:
The college has an Intake Capacity of 64 students out of which 40 seats are general and 24 seats are paid.
Presently 184 students are enrolled in B.Sc.(Hons.) Agri. Part I, Part II and Part III.

Presently College is running in the building handed over by Centre of Excellence, khernri, Baseri (Dholpur) . We have submitted a master plan for the constriction of academic, administrative, Boys & Girls Hostel Buildings. The campus is very beautiful and full greenery. It creates a picturesque view and natural environment is available here. The following facilities are available at the campus.
- Class Room: The classes of BSc. (Hons.) Ag. are being conducted in the building of Centre of Excellence Mango, khernri, Baseri (Dholpur). Well furnished big halls are available for conducting the classes.
- Land: A total of 30.0 ha land had been alloted at Centre of Excellence mango, Khemri Teh- Baseri (Dholpur) . Out of 30 ha land 3 ha mango orchard of various varieties is already planted and rest 27 ha land is to be developed. However we have started seed production programme at small scale .
- Accommodation facilities: College is presently having an administration block, staff rooms for teaching and non-teaching staff and a separate room for convenience of girl students.
- Basic Amenities: RO drinking water and lavatory facility for both boys and girls are available in the college.
- Seminar Hall: A Well furnished seminar hall of big size with seating capacity of 60 students is available which is being used for celebration of different events and programmes of college.
- Library Facilities: As this college is newly opened, so library facilities are under developing stage, however sufficient books are available as per course curriculum.
- Sports Facilities: This College is providing the playground facilities of Kabbadi, Volleyball, Badminton and atheletics.
- NSS: The College of Agriculture Baseri, Dholpur foresees the active participation of undergraduate students in National Service Scheme (NSS), started by Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Human Resources Development, New Delhi, The basic purpose of this scheme is to develop responsibility through social services and realization of work. It helps to inculcate self-discipline and control of mind and body for making students a responsible citizen. NSS activities are a mandatory part of B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. degree program.
- Extracurricular activities: The college from its inception has regularly organized vivid student activities, for all-around development of the students. The college believes in endorsement of professionalism and ethics among students by imparting value based education for holistic development of the students. The resources spared by the college and the hard work and enthusiasm of the students have paid-off in the form of the whole hearted involvement and participation of the students in extracurricular and co-curricular activities regularly organized at the college and university level.
- Celebration of special days of national importance: The College organizes different activities regularly on important National days to bring about awareness and inspiration among students. They form an integral part of the course curriculum for an all-round development of the students and faculty members.
- Advisory system for students: Student advisory an integral part of UG programme in which about 10 students are allotted to a teacher. For this 7th period of every Friday has been earmarked for advisors specially to interact with the students, so that their academic as well as day to day problems may be tackled without any delay.
