About the College

The College of Agriculture, Kotputli was established on 5th August, 2022 by the Government of Rajasthan as a constituent college of Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner. At present, the college is running a B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture four-year integrated course. The college is currently located at Kanwarpura, just near NH-48, approximately 100 km from Jaipur towards Delhi, 5 km from Kotputli, and 11 km from Paota.

A land area of 44.09 ha has been allotted to the college at Pathredi village, located 3.5 km from NH 48, where boundary wall construction and leveling work are in progress. The designs for the administrative block, girls' and boys' hostels, dean's residence, and canteen have been finalized, with construction expected to start soon.

Admission

Admission to the B.Sc. (Hons) Ag. programme is conducted through the JET examination. Candidates must have passed the 12th grade (10+2 scheme) with Agriculture, Biology, or Mathematics. A minimum of 50% marks is required, with a relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms. The maximum age limit is 25 years, and candidates must be bonafide residents of Rajasthan.

Facilities

The college is well-equipped with smart classrooms, a library, science labs, a crop cafeteria, Wi-Fi system, and other necessary facilities like RO water, a canteen, and separate washrooms for girls and staff. Facilities for the National Service Scheme (NSS) and National Sports Organization (NSO) are also available.
