Dr. Praveen Pilaniya, son of Mr. Vidhyadhar Pilaniya, was born on 11 February 1990 at Sikar, Rajasthan, India. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2014 from the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner. He completed his postgraduate degree from Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner.
He served in the Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Gujarat, as a Veterinary Officer from 10 August 2017 to 15 January 2019, where his duties included treatment of sick animals and extension activities. He also served as a Teaching Associate at the Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (RAJUVAS), Bikaner, from 23 July 2022 to 09 July 2023, with responsibilities related to the management of the Livestock Farm Complex.
He has published 11 research papers in national and international journals, authored 14 popular articles, and served as editor of two books. He has received three awards from different professional societies and holds membership in five professional societies.
