Entomology

Dr. Dev Karan Bairwa, son of Mr. Ram Niwas Bairwa, was born on 10 May 1974 at VPO-Didayach, Tehsil-Chouth Ka Barwara, Distt- sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, India. He completed his undergraduate degree in 1997 from the MDS, University, Ajmer. He completed his postgraduate degree and Ph.D from Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner, Rajasthan.
He has served in National seeds Corporation at Bhopal as a Assistant Seed Officer from May 2009 to July 2012, where performed his duties as a Processing Plant In-charge and Area Manager.
He is working as a Asstt. Professor (Entomology) From 01 August 2012 to May 2013 at ARS, Navgaon, May 2013 18 February at SKN college of Agriculture, Jobner and 19 February 2024 to till date at College of Agriculture, Kotputli.
He has published 29 research papers in national and international journals, authored 20 popular articles. He has received three two from different professional societies and holds membership in three professional societies. He has guided 07 M.Sc. Ag Student and 03 Ph. D. Student as a Major Advisor. He has made 07 patent as a Co-Author. He has developed 07 recommendation as state POP and national workshops. He has worked as a different administrative position i.e. Asstt Director Research, ADSW, Farm In-charge, Warden, In-charge Store, In-charge Acctts etc.
