Genetics and Plant Breeding

Dr. Ganesh Kumar Koli is working as an Assistant Professor in Genetics and Plant Breeding (GPB) at the College of Agriculture, Navgaon (Alwar), under Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU), Jobner. He joined the university in July 2023 and is actively engaged in teaching and research activities. Dr. Koli also serves as the Principal Investigator (PI) of the Volunteer Centre under the All India Coordinated Research Project on Rapeseed and Mustard (AICRP–R&M), contributing to coordinated national efforts in oilseed crop improvement. He obtained his Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar, during 2019–2023, supported by the prestigious ICAR-Senior Research Fellowship (ICAR-SRF). He completed his M.Sc. in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, during 2017–2019. His research interests focus on crop improvement and breeding strategies. Dr. Koli has published several research articles in reputed scientific journals, reflecting his contributions to the field of Genetics and Plant Breeding.
