Biochemistry

I have completed PhD as CSIR-UGC SRF in the field of Biochemistry, with minor in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology. I have gained the experience of excellent laboratory experimentation, various biochemical and molecular techniques including radioisotopic techniques, extraction, purification and estimation of enzymes and bioactive metabolites, induction and maintenance of callus and other cultures, sub-culturing, Suspension culture for elicitation of phytochemicals, isolation of DNA and RNA, cloning techniques, semiquantitative expression analysis etc. Apart from this I have also gained experience of screening plant materials for biotic and abiotic stress viz., salinity/drought screening both under field and lab conditions. I have also worked as a Teaching assistant in Department of Biochemistry, College of Basic Sciences and Humanities, GBPUA&T, Pantnagar and Guest Faculty at HNB (Central) Garhwal University, Srinagar Uttarakhand, Assistant Professor at Dolphin (P.G) Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences (DIBNS), Dehradun. I am actively involved in teaching subjects related to Biotechnology and Biochemistry, apart from teaching courses related to Human Food and Nutrition etc., Since 20218, I am Working as Assistant Professor (Biochemistry) At College of Agriculture Bharatpur (Kumher) a constituent college of S. K. N. Agriculture University, Jobner.
