Agronomy

Dr. Vijay Kumar Didal is working as Assistant Professor (Agronomy) at the College of Agriculture, Navgaon, Alwar, Rajasthan. He was born on 29 August 1992 in Mundoti village, Jaipur district, Rajasthan. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. from S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner (Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, Rajasthan). He obtained his M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy from the College of Agriculture, Dharwad (University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka), and his Ph.D. in Agronomy from the College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad (Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad, Telangana).
He is a recipient of the ICAR–Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Agronomy for his M.Sc. programme and the National Fellowship for Other Backward Classes (NFOBC) awarded by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, for his Ph.D. degree. He was also awarded the IPNI Scholar Award (2018) from the International Plant Nutrition Institute, USA. Dr. Didal began his academic career as an Assistant Professor at SVKM’s NMIMS, Shirpur, Maharashtra, in 2019. His areas of work include teaching, research and extension activities. He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and is a life member of the Indian Society of Agronomy, New Delhi.
