A passionate librarian, presently serving at the College of Agriculture, Navgaon, Alwar—one of the constituent colleges of Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner, Rajasthan—as an Assistant Librarian. Previously, she worked with Apex University, Jaipur, as Assistant Professor, DLIS and ADR (Research Section); JECRC University, Jaipur, as Library In-charge and Assistant Professor (DLIS); Azim Premji Foundation for Development, Jaipur, as Resource Person (Library); and Poornima Group of Institutions and Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University, Jaipur, as Deputy Librarian. She was awarded a Ph.D. (LIS) in 2010, MLIS in 2000, and BLIS in 1999 from MLS University, Udaipur. Her specialization includes Library Management, Information Retrieval and Dissemination Techniques, Library Automation, and ICT applications in libraries. She was a Gold Medallist in BLIS (1999) and MLIS (2000) and was honoured as the Best Librarian for 2015 by the Compact Society for Social Welfare, New Delhi. She was also recognized among the Top 50 Best Librarians by Ulektz in 2020. She has supervised four Ph.D. theses and one M.Phil. dissertation. She has edited one book and authored several research papers, presenting her work at national and international conferences.
