Pulse, Rice and Fodder Agronomy

Dr. Shailendra Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agronomy at the S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University (SKNAU) in Jobner, Rajasthan. He earned his B.Sc. Ag. (Hon.) and Ph.D. in Agriculture from MPUAT, Udaipur, and his M.Sc. in Agriculture from UAS, Dharwad, alongside qualifying NET through ASRB. A distinguished academic, Dr. Singh received an appreciation award from the Vice Chancellor of SKNAU in January 2023 for his outstanding contributions to agricultural education, and he successfully developed the university's Golden Jubilee Forage Garden, which was recognized as the best-maintained by AICRP Forage crops. His extensive research portfolio spans agronomic studies on crops like wheat, mustard, and pearl millet, alongside active involvement in collaborative projects with institutions like ICAR CRIDA and United Phosphorus Limited. Furthermore, he co-authored the 2024 publication New Horizon in Climate Smart Agriculture and continues to contribute significantly to crop science and sustainable agriculture
