Dr. Varsha Kumari, Ph.D., currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, SKN Agriculture University, Jobner. She has completed her B. Sc. (Ag.) from P. D. K.V, Akola as University gold medalist and obtained M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Genetics and Plant Breeding from UAS, Dharwad and joined the SKN Agriculture University, Jobner in 2018 as an Assistant Professor. She has published more than 45 research and review papers, two authored and two edited books and several book chapters and popular articles in reputed national and international journals. She has guided eight M.Sc. and one Ph.D. students. She has received several prestigious honors, including the Young Scientist Award, Young Women Scientist Award, Eminent Scientist Award etc. her major research interests include molecular marker analysis, QTL analysis, biotic stress breeding and micropropagation technologies.
