Agricultural Extension Education

Dr. B. S. Badhala is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Extension Education at S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner. He possesses over 13 years of rich professional experience in teaching, research, and extension education, and has made significant contributions to agricultural education and rural development.

He earned a Gold Medal in M.Sc. (Agricultural Extension Education) from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), Bikaner, in 2009. For his doctoral studies, he was awarded the prestigious JRF-P and SRF-P fellowships under the National Talent Search Scheme by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, New Delhi, during 2010–2012.

Since 2013, Dr. Badhala has served in various academic capacities at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, and Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner, where he has been actively involved in teaching, student mentoring, research supervision, and farmer-oriented extension activities.

He has successfully guided 10 M.Sc. and 2 Ph.D. scholars in Agricultural Extension Education. His scholarly contributions include 56 research papers, 2 books, 4 book chapters, 31 extension folders, and 3 success story booklets, highlighting his strong commitment to academic excellence and practical outreach.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Dr. Badhala has been honored with the Young Scientist Award (2024) by the Society of Extension Education, Agra, a District-Level Award (2015) conferred by the Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, and a Special Commendation (2023) from the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKNAU, Jobner, for excellence in Agricultural Extension.
