Horticulture

Dr. Ashok Choudhary is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Horticulture) at the College of Horticulture, RARI, Durgapura under Shri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner. He completed his Ph.D. in Horticulture from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in 2022. I have obtained my M.Sc. (Horticulture) from Agriculture University, Kota, as working on foliar application of zinc and salicylic acid in African marigold and completed his B.Sc. (Agriculture) from Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner. Professionally, he has served as SRF at KVK Abusar (SKRAU, Bikaner), Research Associate at ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, CAZRI Jodhpur. I have honored with several fellowship and awards, including Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from ICAR, Young Scientist. I have published 26 Research papers, 3 book chapter, 4 Practical Manual for benefit of students and 30 popular articles. I have actively engaged as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator in different Projects and also associated with the All India Coordinated Research Project on Vegetable Crops and station trials on potato. Dedicated to advancing sustainable and precision horticulture, I continue to contribute significantly to teaching, research extension, and capacity building in Indian agriculture.
