Dr. Ramphool Puniya, Associate Professor and Officer Incharge, Agriculture Research Sub-Station, Kumher, Bharatpur, Rajasthan. He did his B.Sc. (Hons) Ag. from S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner in 2004 and M.Sc. (Ag.) and Ph. D. in Agronomy from GBPUAT, Pantnagar in 2006 and 2010, respectively. He also did post-doctoral from Division of Agronomy, IARI, New Delhi in Conservation Agriculture for Enhancing Productivity and Resource use Efficiency. He started his carrier as Assistant Professor-cum-Junior Scientist (Agronomy) in the Division of Agronomy, SKUAST-Jammu in the year 2012. During his service at SKUAST-Jammu, he has involved in teaching, research, extension and training activities of the University. He has handled several in-house projects, AICRP projects (wheat & barley and weed) and externally funded research projects as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator. He guided 3 M.Sc. (Ag.) Agronomy students and one Ph.D. student as major advisor. In addition to this, he guided 6 Ph. D. and 12 M.Sc. Ag. students as a co-advisor. He has published more than 65 research papers in the journals of national and international repute. He also published 4 books with ISBNs and 30 extensions bulletins. He received Indian Society of Weed Science's Young Scientist Award 2015, the Innovative Team Award from SIDAVES, and the Asian Pacific Weed Science Society's prize for the best poster presentation. Dr. Ramphool Puniya is distinguished scientist and expert, he always spares his time for farmers to advise them to adopt high technology in farming.

• Lead functions: Crop and soil management under water logged and tank bed situation.
• Verification functions: Mustard, Chick Pea, Wheat, Pearl millet, Kharif Pulses and fodder sorghum, Improvement of fruits (Ber, Aonla, Guava, Lemon and Papaya) and spices crops. Nutrient management in Saline soils.
