National Dairy Development Board (NDDB)

NDDB's foundation is based on the firm belief that the path to India's socio-economic progress passes through rural development. Established with the aim of encouraging, financially supporting, and empowering institutions owned and controlled by the farmers themselves, NDDB has been a cornerstone of India's cooperative movement. NDDB's programs not only strengthen farmer institutions but also assist in the formulation of national policies that are conducive to their overall development. Following cooperative principles, NDDB has transformed the dairy sector into a sustainable and profitable livelihood for millions of milk producers. It is the result of this dedication that today our country is completely self-reliant in the field of milk production.

NDDB Dairy Services (NDS)

NDS is a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). it functions as the operational arm of NDDB to provide technical assistance to Milk Producer Organisations (MPOs) and enhance the productivity of milch animals, focusing on small, marginal and especially women farmers. NDS creates a transparent and farmer-owned dairy ecosystem at the grassroots level to ensure equitable income, inclusive growth and institutional reliability. Through advanced technologies like Artificial Insemination (AI) to In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), NDS is reshaping the animal genetic improvement landscape of India
